  14th May 2009

Not much of sigthings today as the weather conditions have been far from good and the visibility was very poor.

Early in the night (midnight sun) Aron and Hampus saw a carcass of a very huge (probably a rorqual) whale floating westwards off the lighthouse. A swarm of gulls was hanging around and feeding at the carcass.

The Little Gull Larus minutus was still present in the area.

Otter Lutra lutra was seen at several occasions along the shore at the Lighthouse.
